Vamizi Island is a real nature lovers paradise, visited by dignitaries the likes of Nelson Mandela, and Graca Machel. Their Eco-tourism projects primary objective was to combine wildlife preservation with tourism and community development. Named Kapila, Suluwilo, Casamina and Casa Marjani these villas and their unique style offer families or couples something extraordinary. Each villa is uniquely designed in its elegant style with en-suite bedrooms, spectacular drawing and dining rooms, and peaceful lounging spaces around private pools or the beach. The private chef and personal hospitality team will ensure all needs are met, from tailor-made menus to organising fishing and diving, spa treatments or dhow sailing trips.

Climate

Described as tropical and without being affected by interior weather patterns or extreme winds, makes this an ideal seasonal destination. October to April are the hottest months with tropical rain showers taking place between January and March. The dry season from June to Sept with a monthly average of between 26ºC and 27ºC.

Offering a bounty of seafood and fresh produce which can be assembled into a family picnic on any of the soft white sand beaches or in the comfort of your villa, the attention to detail and Mozambique recipes are mouthwatering.
